my eyes have seen the glory.....-----------------

these aren't spectacular patterns or anything but I had lots of smaller daylilies blooming this morning and I thought eyes would be a good theme. :) First pic is Siloam Ebony Doll, Midnight Smoke Rings, and a seedling I've posted before not the best of form but good colors.

above is Siloam Master's touch which is more toward medium size, next Siloam Tiny Tim, and then Siloam Night Rings which has great bud count and increases quickly.

first pic is Susan Weber which I got as a gift plant (I wouldn't normally have this one otherwise, ha, but it's nice). next is Siloam Andrew Trotter which just glows and grabs your eye from afar. Last pic is a seedling that is nothing special but has a nice light pink.

above is a pic of the flower I said doubles sometimes, today had a big huge double bloom, I love it. next is echinacea 'Hope', and then the last one no I.D. which looks really bright especially up next to the dark leaved euphorbia..

more color in the north bed today, and some twin blooms; a seedling with some good colors and Siloam Dean's Double bloomed twice today... :)

I've had 2 or 3 blooms a day on Grey Witch and then yesterday whoah! had blooms all over the place. :) the next is a little mini unregistered from Mrs. Henry's garden, and then the last pic ONE of my favorites Siloam Rhinestone.

next is a photo of Siloam Dean's Circle which really does open up in a nice circular form, bright yellow and green, and then a good bright bright late blooming older variety, Siloam Sunburst. lastly is a seedling I think I got from S. Master's Touch.. I like red and yellow with a coppery orange like this. :)

something bought, something new, and something green.... :)

both of these bloomed the other day, My Niche had it's first bloom, a very nice form and subtle color with green throat. the next one is a seedling that bloomed a few times last summer and doing better this year. It lacks the form of My Niche but has a really interesting green throat absolutely. also the tepals have a sort of yellow tone against the petals lavender? tint?... anyway, I went ahead and tried to cross the two, and then I also tried to cross this with Siloam Green Creek to see what I can get with a green throat again. ha

Siloam Amazement, which I might have posted before. this big one has substance substance substance I almost think i could eat it, and Siloam Pink Elegance, always very elegant indeed..

Siloam Ralph Henry and Siloam Copper Kettle which is fickle but pretty when it blooms right.

the Rudbeckia 'Cherry Brandy' grew back nicely this year, the first pic shows Siloam Ebony Doll beneath. The third pic show Eupatorium 'Chocolate' and Silver Groundsel behind/beneath Siloam Dean's Double.

Above shows some mix of Coleus and perilla amongst the daylilies, and 2nd Cestrum 'Orange Peel' with blue and black salvia behind and loropetalum bushes. last pic shows a clump of Siloam Ury Winneford with variegated basil and you can maybe see the ground orchid leaves in back.. :)
