spring gardening


some nice color came back in the front container, angelonia sedum, chocolate sedum, and tricolor sage. the 2nd pic is a close up of the thilactrum 'Black Stockings" in a shady spot


added the dutch iris to the garden last fall and I'm glad to see some blooms this spring. the last pic is Arkansas Amsonia, nice icy blue color every spring. :)

peony 'Green Halo'




The blooms aren't very big but it's always makes a nice accent to the other colors in the garden with the green and white and funky petals jutting out of the center here and there.....am always happy to see this one bloom. I got this from songsparrow many years ago.
