midnight smoke rings

really like this little guy. the clump keeps increasing and the blooms shout out to be seen in the morning. also from the street there's a definite show of purple going on... I've tried here to include a photo taken with flash (6 and 7) to show the real color..
these were taken between blooms from June 20 up til Jul 5th.

I like the green bean center and the buttery color on the petals of this one...

these pics are different small daylilies that I thought had nice dark eyes on them...

lots of rain this morning, and all day so I took a few photos before it started pouring down. This is Happy Apache, Siloam Rhinestone, and Siloam Copper Kettle.

Siloam Rhinestone, a garden pic of north wall (that's Siloam Andrew Trotter in the corner there so gold), and Siloam Perry Dyer

red white and blue ready to go...

red, white, and red and white for July 4th weekend.... here is Midnight Velvet Tough, Happy Apache, and Tuscawilla Snowdrift...

some photos from the yard today....

Siloam Dean's Double. I like the first pic because the blooms always look great up against the Eupatorium 'Chocolate' and the gray Artemesia. the second pic is fun because the bloom in the background almost makes a mirror sort of effect.

This is Siloam Sambo with some nice red Coleus , rubber tree, and dark Purple Purilla in the background. nice deep dark hues going on here. click on the first pic and study which is the daylily and which is the coleus. :)

some pizzaz in the yard from this Asiatic Lily which bloomed quite a dark pink this summer for some reason. no complaints from me though! and I'm throwing in this last pic.... I was up on the roof putting a flag out and thought this shot looked interesting. :)
