front yard flowers beginning of JULY


the two flowers above are Lilyland Golden Galaxy. I'm really happy with the solid color and how this brighten up that spot next to the shrub in front.  next is Blizzard in June. both are new this summer. :)
below is a photo of the "poor soil drought bed" out front between the sidewalk and street.  I was trying to catch the way the orange and yellow looked with the purpl of the Lead Plant aka Prairie Shoestings (Amorpha canescens), but this was taken in morning shade....

below is a better photo of the Lead Plant, I really like the light foliage on this and I guess it was worth the wait of 3 summers for it to get established. :)

this last photo below is Midnight Smoke Rings. I knew this was going to have a nice bloom on it this morning because it was so cool outside. see the little smoky ring between the purple and "blue"?
