no rain today! it's lovely out actually...

a few more photos from this morning, I had to take a photo of the lone Asiatic lily because of the line up varied foliage on plants near it, l to r : Sedum, lightning flash coreopsis and echinacea. 2nd photo is the bloom on the seedling I posted the other day with all the buds and branching. It turned out to be a nice bright red double, which I've always wanted and now have my own. It's got that sort of painted on flat red color that I like although others may call it chalky red. ha (this is a Siloam Double Classic X Spotted Fever btw)

next daylily up is a favorite, Midnight Aura.  It's really outstanding to see from afar with that smoky bright ring around the purple eye, reminds me of bubble gum pink sort of.  the last shot is same place as yesterday but without the red hot pokers in the shot, I like getting the purple drumstick allium close up with a blur of poppies in the background.
